An AI resolution is a complete conversation that the chatbot handled without a human taking over. One resolution can contain many messages — a visitor asking five questions in one session generates one resolution, not five. A message-based platform counts each user question and bot reply as one message. Resolution-based pricing appears cheaper at first glance; it can be significantly more expensive per interaction if your visitors ask multiple questions per session.
