Does removing duplicates keep the original order?
Yes. The tool keeps the first occurrence of every line in the order it appears, so your list stays in its original sequence unless you also turn on sorting.
How does case-insensitive matching work?
With case-insensitive matching on, lines like "Apple" and "apple" are treated as the same and only the first one is kept. The kept line preserves its original casing.
Can I trim spaces before comparing?
Yes. Turn on trimming to ignore leading and trailing whitespace when comparing, so " item" and "item" count as duplicates. You can also choose to ignore blank lines entirely.
Is my list uploaded anywhere?
No. Everything runs locally in your browser with JavaScript. Your text is never uploaded, logged, or sent to a server, so it stays completely private.
